David Iddon Art
International contemporary artist
My style of art always changes depending on the mood or expression that I wish to portray.
I am never comfortable being fixed and so I am always experimenting with styles of art and discovering.
I am fascinated to research the journey of art and what it means to humanity and world cultures. My artistic journey is to unify art styles and techniques. Answer concerns and questions artists face and how mental health can be affected by art.
I sell my art internationally through online galleries and exhibitions.
WINNER 1994 Fuji film professional award for creative publicity - BAFTA
My influences are from such masters as
#GeorgeGrosz, #Otto Dix, #Picasso, #Monet, #Turner, #Matisse, #VanGouch,#EdwardHopper, #EgonShule, #Klimt, #Degas, #toulouse-lautrec
To be an artist is to overcome fear, and to explore the unknown. Dare to fail.
You don't know where to look or how to get there, but you dive head first into the journey of trying to find what hasn't been discovered. Artists are presented with obstacles each day on their journey of discovery that weigh heavily on their psyche and obscures the path to discovering new ideas and breaking boundaries.
Over coming these obstacles that inhibit your journey as an artist and solving questions is the real essence and success of the journey and not the full plan.
“You can’t plan your life. Life happens between your plans!”
